But in the end, only The Twins, Machi and I showed up. So it was just the 5 of us for dinner.
Choi Yi and the rest came hours later.
And the best part? The hadn't even bothered to let Jia Wen know!
I mean, I personally didn't mind whether they chose not to turn up or not after saying they would, but they could at least have had the courtesy to call and tell her that they couldn't make it for dinner or something instead of totally... hmmm... what's the word? Owh, right. Ffk-ing.


Machi, if you ever organize a dinner for my birthday (haha I'm saying IF la!), please tell the people invited that if they should choose to be hours late for no apparent reason they may as well not come at all cos I am gonna emo. Jia Wen may not mind being treated such but I certainly will not take that crap.
And also, get them to RSVP at least 2 days before.

I know getting people to RSVP is damned mafan, but it shouldn't be that hard for you la... after all I don't have many friends hahaha :(

I personally don't like the meat served by TGIF.
Or rather, the sauce that comes with the meat.
Their Jack Daniel's sauce is sweet, and it tastes terrible! Especially with ribs and chicken and omg every fricking thing!

So if you think you have similar tastes in food as I, don't order anything in TGIF that has Jack Daniel's sauce in it.

After dinner we walked around a bit, thought of going into Laundry, but ended up in Sanctuary and then bumped into Boyfriend.

Got an sms from Vincent telling me that he'd be joining Machi and I for the fireworks at my place, so we went to meet him and walked back to my house.

It was only 10:45pm when we arrived back.
So we chilled in my kitchen, ate Dukung, took pictures, talked a whole lot of cock, laughed a whole lot, drank Ribena, choked on Ribena (Vincent, cos he was laughing; Ribena came out of his noce too it was damned hillarious), sprayed Vincent with Ribena (hahaha I sprayed him cos I was laughing with Ribena in my mouth) and play cards.

That 1 hour and 15 minutes in my kitchen proved to me once again that it isn't where you go, or what you eat (owhkay fine a little) or what you do that determines how much fun you have.
It's the people who're doing it with you.
Although it was just Vincent, Machi and I in my kitchen I had more fun then I could have staying in Curve with half the people in the world.

Yeah, like Vincent said, I don't enjoy being squashed by sweaty bodies ew.

I think my place is the best place to catch the fireworks from.
It's sorta watching something in a cinema.
In this case, the porch were our seats, and the sky was our screen.
There were times when the fireworks shot came quite near, and I could actually see the sparks falling around me.
Not this time though, unfortunately.

We went to sit on the top of my porch at 11:55pm, to wait for the fireworks.

For example, watching two movies (one has Jay Chou in it and one I had planned to watch a month ago but never got to it until yesterday) just so it's an excuse to not stay home and study.

Omfg I am so full of shit and excuses. And fat.


Wai Hong, Vincent and I were supposed to go catch Jay Chou's Secret and The Simpson's yesterday;
but in the end Wai Hong ffk-ed (he literally did, as in cancel at the very last frickin minute!).
I HATE it when someone does that to me.
I mean, at least I canceled on him the night before, which isn't as bad as canceling an hour before meeting time!

So yeah, it was just Vincent and I.

Anime fans resist crackdown

SINGAPORE: Angry fans of Japanese animated movies, or anime, are banding together online to prepare for a legal showdown with their nemesis, a local anime distributor.

The distributor, Odex, has taken legal action to get the names of hundreds of people it accuses of illegal anime downloads.

It is expected to write to them, demanding a settlement of up to S$5,000 (RM11,400) and a promise to stop further illegal downloading.

In retaliation, fans and sympathisers are using the Internet to mount a legal challenge to Odex.

Pledges of about S$3,200 (RM7,300) to back such a campaign were made last night.

Odex and its chief, Stephen Sing, have become the subject of online attacks – including death threats – in the wake of news about its anti-piracy moves.

One user, by the name of "nonoabc," created an invitation-only forum for those considering going to court against Odex over its allegations of illegal downloads.

Fans have also sought help in the form of legal advice, and have put together a library of relevant material.

However, three lawyers The Straits Times spoke to on Thursday said this group had little basis for legal action.

The lawyers explained that as long as there is proof of uploading or downloading, they are likely to lose the case.

The forum administrator did not respond to attempts by The Straits Times to contact him.

On popular local forum HardwareZone, a plea for donations for anime fans in Odex's sights has attracted about 50 people offering to contribute between S$2 and S$120 (RM4.50 to RM274) each.

At press time, the promised amount was more than S$3,200, although it is hard to tell how many will pay up – one ‘donor' who offered S$888 (RM2,026) was later found to be joking.
