Beneath This Façade: Unexpected.

I had a looooong weekend.
Woke up at 7am for HELP debate on Saturday morning.
We won, by the way.
The score was 4-1 against St. Micheal's Institution, Ipoh.
Adeline got Best Speaker, too.
That means a full scholarship for any pre-U course she wants at HELP University College.
Sigh. That was what I wanted.
Unfortunately, I'm only a mediocre.
And perhaps a little less.
Gah, owh well.

After the debate, got home,
showered and dressed in ten minutes and off to 1U to meet up with my babes,
Steph and Jade.
Dina was suppose to be there, too,
but she had some complications and couldn't make it in the end.
And yes, Dina. It would have been even fun-er if you were there. :)

I met up with them at Charms, and had a mini mayo dip!
YUMMY.
Then we went window shopping and tried on clothes and everything..
but came home with nothing.
Save Jade, she bought this top from Forever 21.
We met Emelia, Lixian, Melinda, Sandra and the rest of them form 5 chiqs at Forever 21, too.
I tried on like, 5-8 pieces of clothing and ended up buying nothing.
I bet the workers there were damn pissed haha.
But I actually found a top I liked but didn't buy it since I'm pretty much broke.
I won't post up the pictures of me in the dressing room,
damn poser la hehe. =P

At 7:30pm Steph was complaining she was hungry already,
so we went to look for a place to eat.
I suggested Bakerzin,
since we've never been there and WeiKit told me this lame joke about it.
We went there, and looked at the menu,
and saw that the food there was damned expensive.
So I dragged the both of them away since I was trying to save.
Then I suggested Italiannies,
but when we got there the food was priced about the same.
In the end Jade said we should just go to Bakerzin since we've never been there before,
and we haven't eaten anything nice in awhile.
So off we went. Back to Bakerzin which was like at the other end of 1U.

Jade ordered a Penne Pasta,
Steph ordered a Clam Seafood Spaghetti,
and I ordered a Linguini in Mushroom Cream Sauce.
I saw Escargot in the menu, and it looked pretty good..
so I suggested that we share it.
Me and my big and greedy mouth. =.=
Pictures of the deserts looks DAMNED good in the menu.
So good I took pictures of 'em. =P
The food was really good, I must say.
Except for the freaking Escargot which ended up being a very small portion,
and wasn't very good. So not worth it.
All the Pasta was pretty good, though.
I liked my Linguini very, very much. =D
But it was damned fattening. :(:(

We were damn full weiy.
So full, we couldn't move.

But we still had enough strength to take a picture. =D

After we asked for the bill,
I told Steph to pray very hard for the bill to be less than or around RM80,
cos I was very broke, and so was Jade.
but I guess Stephie didn't pray hard enough...

Sigh. It was quite expected la.
This is the most expensive dinner I have had in the past 6 months.
I mean, the most expensive dinner that I had paid myself in the past 6 months.
Looks like I'll be bringing homemade sandwiches to school again,
for the last two weeks of July.
Cos I think the remaining of my allowance can only stretch so far. =.=
No, hold that thought.
Make it for the rest of the month of July,
because Cheer 2oo6 is this weekend,
and that means I'm gonna be spending more money.
GAH.

Back to Saturday.
After dinner, we went to see Siew Haur.
He's working at Converse during the weekends.
Talked for abit, then Jade and I went back to her house as I was staying over.
We did the normal things: talk cock, bitch, catchup. The usual.
I watched Jennifer Aniston's new movie, The Breakup, with Jade's mom and Jhia Hsin, too.
Its a stupid movie, really.

He wasn't posing.

I was blotting my face when back at Jade's,
and asked her to blot hers too, so we could compare who is oily-er.
Guess who was the oily-est?

My blotter is the top one, and Jade's the bottom.
