I'm not feeling well today. :(
All those late nights and lack of water are taking its toll on me.
:(

But still, a blogger's gotta do, what blogger's gotta do.

DJ Leo's 15th annual I.U. Day was held last Sunday,
on the 30th of April.
I arrived at 1:30pm,
After downing my chicken chop from KFC,
I had to quickly take a shower, makeup, put on my dress.
And finally got to Royale Bintang for the event.

My camera was spoilt, so I had to depend on Jesse's,
and Bobo's.
Jesse's cam had 512mb memory,
and Bobo's had 256mb.
But still all that memory still wasn't enough.
So I didn't get to take the many pictures I wanted,
and I only could get snippets of most of the performances,
when initially I had wanted to record all of them down.
=/ I didn't think that there would be not enough memory. =.=
And sorry yeaaa. The videos are abit lagging.
And some of the photos are freakin big. =P


So anywaaaayy, HERE.WE.GO.

The theme of this year's I.U. was Mida's Touch.
You knooow, the story about this king named Mida,
who wished everything he touched to turn into gold?
Yahh. Melissa got the theme according to the story if I aint wrong.




Before we let the guests in,
Everyone was last minute practicing their stuffs backstage,
John-Hans (he looked so sexy in the blazer) and Charmaine practicing their emcee-ing,
Mickeymitez running through routine,
and I was running around looking for Melinda for my cloth.
The security people were busy checking all the other entrances to the ballroom,
so that no one could get in through anywhere but the main entrance.
Waaaah. Stress stresss.
But I still had time to take pictures of people and things haha =P

Then finally, we let the guests in.
All the guests had to go through security,
show them their tickets and get their hands chopped.
As in, with a stupid blue chop which stained my pretty white dress. =.=
And not to mention that it still won't come off my skin,
even after bathing 5 times with it. >=(












After everyone was seated (Or rather mostly everyone),
After the flag salutation, Leo Pledge, and blabla,
We FINALLY got the show rolling.
The opening performance,
was a sketch by 5 Kempas and Cengal (if Im not wrong)
about the story of Mida's Touch.
A VERY good and funny sketch I must say.
Jeremy Chee is a damned good actor. =D
Didn't take any videos of it, cos it was too long and I only got to see it in the middle.
Grrr. Missed out quite abit.

The "hot chiqs" were impressed.
And they gave King Mida their Vagina medallions.

The genie gave King Mida 3 wishes,
cos he thought King Mida was cute. LOL.
And we all knew what he wished for.
Afterthat, whatever King Mida touches,
it would turn to gold.

He turned Marigold gold first,

Then his queen gold.

Then soon, his whole kingdom was gold.

Poor dudeeee.
But damn good actor.

Then came back the genie and fixed everythhiinngg.
=D

Moving onnn.
After the opening performance was
the speeches by Lion Christopher,
Melissa and everybody else who gave speeches.
Im just too lazy to list them down. =P

Then came the sexy cheerleaders.

Ah then, was an accoustic performance by Su Ann, Laura and Jorrel.
They sang a song. I don't remember the title.
I took a short snippet of their performance,
but deleted it by accident.
I'm such a dope. =.=

Then was a guest performance - Capoeira.
Capoeira is a sort of Brazillian martial arts thing,
which is pretty coool. =D
I took a video of it but Jesse deleted it cos his cam had no space left.
And I just reealized that I have NO pictures of the Capoeira whatsoever.
Omfg.
Ahhh nvmd la.

Right after the Capoeira,
John Khor and his band, Mudd, took the stage.
They sang Here Without You.
John Khor was so sweet, cos he dedicated that song to his girl, Sarah Yeoh.
And Jun-Yeu to Kirsty.
Daamnnn. Im jealous. >=(

I got photos of the lead singer and lead guitarist and their girlfriends,
but not of their performance. =.=
I did take pictures I remember,

One word, Ladies and Gentlemen.
HAWT.

After the sizzling performance,
obviously everyone needed a rest and sometime to cool down.
Too many hot chiqs shaking their booties at once does that to you.
I SWEAR. EVEN FOR A FEMALE.
Eww. I sound lesbo. =P

During the interval, I grabbed my modelling partner
and we went backstage to think of what we were gonna do for our 8 count.
So last minute,
but we had no choice cos I had no time to come for practice.
At last we finally decided on something in like, 5 minutes?
We're pro la. Heehee. :)

The Best Dressed Award Presentation was right after the half hour interval.
The nominees were:




Alice* (I'll just call her that since I don't remember her name)
Crystal Ong
Chin Yien Yien
Sarah Jane Choi
Joanne Chen


But unfortunately Joanne didn't turn up on stage when they called her name.
So only 4 of them competed.
In the end Yienny won best dressed!
Yippeeee. Congrats Yienny. :)

Nigel, Jebat and Adrian then took the stage,
singing their own written song called,
More Than I Can Be.
The tune was written by Nigel, and lyrics written by Jebat.
Adrian was lead singer.
I heard them practicing backstage before they came on,
and the lyrics and tune and the way they sang it just really grabbed me.
It made me so emo. Their voices, along with the lyrics..
EMO.
But a VERY good song.
They should go record professionally in a studio.
Watch this and you'll SO agree with me.



The sound system was kinda screwed la,
and the camera distorted the sounds a little.
But still I think they rocckked.
:)


Next, I present to you..

Hats and Scarves

Good job girlies. :)

Nowww, for a special guest performance by Farah, a Malaysian Idol contestant.
She sang Because of You by Kelly Clarkson,
and LaLa by Ashlee Simpson.
I thought she was pretty goood.

When she was singing LaLa,
Yu Szen went on stage,
and started embarassing, er, I mean, dancing with her.
Hahah. Damn funny.



This was when he was gonna stop already.

Afterthat Joel came up and sang us a few tunes. :)
And then the emcees played a few games plus give out lucky draw prizes.
These two lucky form 2 chiqs won the camera and the tv.
GRR. Im jealous. :(






Then we continued with BlackMob.
This is DAMNED funny.
I LOVE MUGHI.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.
It was like, the song Faraway by Nickelback,
with a little Indian spice to it.
VERY funny.

Then there was a dance sketch directed by WeiJing.
I know a lot of you didn't really know what it was about,
so let me explain.
Joe Shen was supposed to be this superstar,
having auditions for his latest video.
So all those girls dancing were sort of auditioning la.
Um, if someone knows better than me,
please leave a comment in the comment coloumn down on the right,
and tell us what it really was about. :) Thankss.

There are alot of different dances in this one.
There's a 70's kinda dance,
Ballroom dancing, (it was sort of more like a tango)
and current day dancing.
Pretty coool. =D










Then next was MY turn to perform.
Modelling. Sigh. Since I was performing I couldn't take any pictures or videos.
So no one else I know did. =.=
Damn GAY.
ArgHHh.

Owh yea. Before that.
When we were all changing into our modelling outfits,
I went and asked Melinda about my cloth,
cos I had left it during rehearsal,
and Melissa told me Melinda has taken it home for me.
When I asked Melinda, she suddenly told me she didn't bring it.

Panic shrouded my brain.

I frantically yelled and searched around for another top to go with my pants.
I was panicking, panicking and panicking.
Finalllyyyyy, Emelia told me she had an extra piece of cloth.
THANK YOU EMELIA I LOVE YOU.
So I just did what I had intended to do with my cloth.
Ah, lucky lucky me.
But unfortunatey still for me,
cos since NO ONE took any freakin pictures of when I was modelling,
you all don't get to see what I did with my cloth.
At least Sarah Jane told me she liked it. :(
Aiya, but whats most important is I got photos of the others.
Im sure you all don't wanna see a fat chiq pretending to be slim anyway.
=P

We kicked off the modelling with the girls.
Warning for guys: ALOT of chiqs.

I am never doing modelling again.

Then followed by the dudes.
Some of them were just so..
